In response to the death of Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd on Grey’s Anatomy, a character that was played by actor Patrick Dempsey for ten years, the T.V. fan Courtney Williams launched an online petition on Change.org.
In the petition, she is demanding that Shonda Rhimes, the hospital drama’s creator and executive producer, bring back her favorite small-screen doctor. In case you missed it, Derek was in a debilitating car accident and incompetent medical care left him brain dead and on life support. So Meredith, the love of his life, chose to pull the plug.
